Introduction
Some general information about the case management solution accelerator
OpenText AppWorks Case Accelerator is an optional package that can be installed in an AppWorks Platform environment. It accelerates development times by providing pre-built components that can be used as-is for large numbers of use cases, or can be fully customized to your specific needs and preferences.
You can use or as many or as few of the included components as desired.
A note about roles:
Case Accelerator uses roles to control what a user can see and do in the system, and to assign tasks. Each user in the system is assigned one or more roles by the administrator.
For the sake of convenience, only two roles are used in these scenarios:
Barbara Blue(bblue) is a case worker and case system administrator. For most of the exercises you will act as Barbara.
Gary Green (ggreen) is a case requestor.
We'll look at the components in the context of a live system.
